KÖLLA NOVA GmbH, a subsidiary of KÖLLA GmbH & Co. KG responsible for the discount retail channel, appointed Mr. Marcus De Luca as Managing Director effective August 1, 2025. With this decision, the KÖLLA Group strengthens its existing leadership team and sends a clear signal of continuity and forward-looking strategy.

Marcus De Luca has been active in the fruit and vegetable industry since 1998 and brings a deep understanding of all stages of the supply chain. His career began with a solid training at Manss in Hamm, followed by three years of hands-on international experience with various producers in Italy—working both in the fields and in the warehouses. This period shaped his comprehensive expertise across the entire value chain. His professional journey also included key roles at EDEKA Fruchtkontor in Munich, a significant milestone in his career, and at Gandolfo in Milan. For the past 17 years, Marcus De Luca has been part of the KÖLLA Group, a testament to his long-standing expertise and commitment to the industry. With nearly 28 years of experience, he is considered one of the leading professionals in the European fresh produce sector.
