KÖLLA congratulates Lukas Tesar, Trainee in Fruit & Vegetable Purchasing and Sales at KÖLLA GmbH & Co. KG, on successfully passing the IHK examination to become a certified fruit trade expert.

He completed an intensive course spanning 80 hours of instruction, covering a wide range of topics including commodity knowledge, quality and goods receipt control, quality management, plant protection, logistics, foreign trade, and legal fundamentals.

“The practical insights from experienced leaders who shared their knowledge and years of expertise were particularly valuable to me,” says the newly certified fruit trade expert.

“The detailed examination of fruits and vegetables – from identifying possible diseases and damages to measures for preventing them – has significantly deepened my understanding. I found the legal background, the many possibilities of digitalization in the industry, and the use of AI particularly fascinating. A true highlight for me was also the lecture on optimizing logistical processes.”
